Prof. 𝗜𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗵 is an Associate Research Physicist at the Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on acceleration processes in the magnetosphere and heliosphere, anomalous abundance due to resonance interaction, and non-Markovian diffusion. He obtained a BSc in Jerusalem , an MSc at the Weizmann Institute, and a PhD at Tel Aviv University. After completing his PhD he joined the Space Sciences Laboratory at UC Berkeley, where he developed a long-standing research career combining theoretical analysis, numerical modelling, and interpretation of in situ and remote observations in space plasma physics.
